I know some aren’t on Insta - Life Update: I have a shoe dropping with Jordan Brand My ‘23 Chicago @Jumpman23 Women’s Collective sisters and I collaborated w/ Jordan brand on a shoe we are LIVE! Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine I’d say, “I have shoe dropping with Jordan brand”. If I’ve learned anything in life so far, it’s to lean into faith and keep going. Trust yourself all while learning and growing along the way, move with gratitude, love and intention. It’s been all the way up ever since This one is a nod to the Chicago woman while paying homage to the iconic bred colorway. The colorway signifies the backdrop of Chicago. The upper turquoise and grey represent the flowing and adaptable waters of Lake Michigan coupled w/ the grey winter skies and steadfast beauty of our skyline w/ all of its architecture that stand tall and proud, akin to the Chicago woman. Bred signifies breaking barriers, being unapologetic in your pursuits to be the best you. It’s about staying locked in and staying true despite the critics and haters to achieve unfathomable heights. When you photo invert the colors of the shoe, you get the bred colorway. We chose the AJ1 low silhouette because of the its rich history and the versatility synonymous with lows. They’re the pair you throw on and get to your day. The glossy crinkled leather turquoise on the upper alongside the smooth leather grey upper represent edge, grit, hard work, determination and versatility. This is the Chicagoan, this is the greatest player of all time. It encapsulates the diverse & beautiful city Chicago is. We’re Midwest nice but will stop at nothing & for no one to achieve our goals, no excuses, no stops, no brakes. I want you to feel fly, fearless and bold in this shoe. This shoe is an attitude. I’m so grateful for my Collective sisters, my family & friends who’ve loved & supported me endlessly, the lessons that made me and Jordan Brand for continuously investing in women. Chicago, I love you, this is for you. I l The AJ1 Low Se ‘Inverted’ inspired by my Jordan sisters and I, out now. 🙏🏽🤞🏽 #inmyJs
