If there’s one thing I still struggle with, it’s asking for money. Every single time, the only person I can comfortably ask is my dad, no hesitation, no overthinking. I’ll just call him straight away and ask shamelessly

Very important public health information. While it is nice/encouraging/heartwarming to take our old relatives abroad for various reasons, please consider the commonest silent killer. Pulmonary embolism, which can be a consequence of DVT (deep venous thrombosis) commonest cause is sitting in one place for too long (long flights). Please include pre-travel health check-ups in your travel plans. The death is always sudden from PE. Prevention is the only way. Something as simple as compression stockings, especially for those on the heavy side can be a lifesaver. Importantly, get them checked out and on essential medications to ease travel

Eliminating sleep after Fajr is perhaps the most productive thing I've done in the last 4 months. I used to believe it'd be a horrible day for me any day I didn't sleep in the morning. Now I've gone months without it. Alhamdulillah.

Nigerians, are you not tired? Truly — are you not exhausted? Every single day, it’s a new battle: One moment you’re fighting for justice for a molested child, the next you’re protesting police brutality. If you’re not begging the government to end strikes so doctors can return to work, you’re pleading for lecturers to be paid so children can finish school. If you’re not crying out for the rescue of entire communities abducted by bandits, you’re warning authorities to take action and protect towns that bandits have openly given notice and threatened to attack. If you’re not demanding governors pay salaries and pensions, you’re begging them to fix crumbling roads. If you’re not urging legislators to hold the President accountable, you’re simply asking them to discuss the insecurity consuming your communities. Are you not tired?

25 girls will not be sleeping at home today. They will be alone in the forest with the worst scum. Sit with this news, deep it. We cannot continue this way. This cannot continue. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

Dear Sir, @dikko_radda 1. Do you know that a doctor working in Katsina earns far less than a doctor working in some states like Zamfara, with almost a N150k difference? 2. Do you know that Katsina State still pays health workers a hazard allowance of five thousand naira (N5k) per month? 3. A house officer in Katsina is paid less than N200k per month compared to other places that pay more than N250k? All these, sir, are as a result of the Katsina State Government not implementing the full CONMESS salary structure for medical doctors. So, before we accuse doctors of being unpatriotic, I think the better approach is to look at how doctors and other health care professionals are being treated in Katsina. Treat them well, and see how they respond in kind.

In our hospitals, just 2 doctors now attend to nearly 70 patients in a single clinic. This isn’t sustainable. Our members remain overworked, underpaid, and stretched beyond capacity, yet still committed to saving lives . This is why our message remains clear: the system must change. #NARD

If you want to maintain healthy relationships in your life you have to learn how to reconcile the right way. When you mistreat or mishandle someone that you love and care about, apologize to them & address the issue. Waiting for time to pass, hoping it will get better, is not an apology. Calling them & pretending like nothing ever happened is not an apology. Being nice to them in hopes they'll forget about the mistreatment is not an apology. Until you open your mouth & address the issue, the problem will still exist. Reconciliation takes real honesty & transparency for it to be successful. You cannot reconcile with someone who's not willing to be honest about how they've mishandled you.
