⚠️ CAUTION: Investigators on Duty!!⚠️ We had a place value CRIME SCENE today. Some Number Suspects came into our classroom and made a math MESS! We put on our detective gear and got to WORK! The clues were tricky, but we caught our criminal!!!! 🥸🤔📝🦹🏼‍♀️

I always thought I was a curriculum and instruction person, but I’m most definitely a teaching and learning person. I do believe there’s a difference. And I believe the difference is what is centered. I want to teach kids the stuff, not stuff to the kids.

2nd grade Engineers @Parkside_ES are hosting a car show! The design process had kids planning, testing, & tweaking, until they got desired results. Perseverance, grit, and the support of teachers and peers made this learning experience one for the books! #1LISD ❤️🖤💙
