@Pilestedt Rare Samples are the reason Super Credits are abundant on lower difficulties. Rare Samples not occupy the loot tables on high difficulties, but most Crate POI's also have a Rare Sample variant.
I understand farming will be nerfed, but please increase SC spawns on D7+.
@samarialainen@MattWallaceTech We are growing Helldivers 2 into Helldivers 3.... so you may be correct. Except maybe swimming - I don't think its possible to swim in a heavy plate carrier with rifle and support weapons.
Also, all our games have had the thing about the protagonist not being able to swim.
Hey @Pilestedt is there any way to increase team sizes from 4 to 8 players but only on super Helldive difficulty? My friend group on the game has grown to the point where we all can’t play together and it makes me sad.
For the 20th anniversary of HL2, I tried to make new art in the same style as my old art. That meant going back to old methods and deliberately ignoring all the stuff I've learned in the last 20 years. It was a really fun excersize.

Can a similar thing be done for the Eruptor? Eg Shrapnel cannot damage the same enemy more than 4 times? Could this solve the problem of it one-shotting Chargers?
@Dantey2223@Official_Zecr I think the HMG needs a tripod with an ammo box that it can be mounted on as part of team play mechanics.
...but it's a bit too ambitious as a balance adjustment 🤣
@Pilestedt Helldivers has just become un-fun for me and a lot of my friends, I've put insane hours, (rank 80), I don't know what to say these past months of balancing changes has made the game basically unplayable for me, sad to see balance changes come over the priority of fun
@Pilestedt@helldivers2 Air Superiority: Eagle-1 does multiple passes shooting at Shriekers and Gunships with her Gatling Gun.
Homing Missile Strike: Eagle-1 comes in at a shallow angle, dispatching 4-6 homing missiles as she passes. Each High Explosive missile locks onto and tracks a different target.
@Pilestedt@helldivers2 Bunker Buster: Eagle-1 comes down at a steep angle and unleashes a rocket-assisted armor piercing missile that penetrates the ground and explodes, closing destroying Bug Holes and Fabricators in a radius with minimal damage above ground; Causes earthquake effect upon detonation.
@LookAtMyMeat1 This is so true. When people ask me if I liked it I answer “yes but also no.” Boring gameplay, exceptional narrative.
I haven’t done 2 yet though.

There is already a suitcase sized minigun out there that can fire at 6000rpm while hand held! Might work as a support weapon that requires a support pack to keep it running
These ricochets are out of this world 😭 I love our projectile simulation system. (I'm however biased as I spent so many nights coding it). But massive kudos to every chad engineer at @ArrowheadGS that continued the work and optimized my slow-ass code. 🤡 (And sorry)
