Punching someone over spit is just as unreasonable as shooting them. Self defense requires proportional response. Spit is gross assault but fists or bullets turn it into your assault. Call it out, walk away or de-escalate. Real defense is for actual physical danger not every provocation.

Since you don’t live here, you don’t understand that we have a right to self-defense. Being spit on is considered assault in this country, so you have a right to defend yourself.
