I believe the next stage of merger would be engineers developing product sense and discovering and shipping products, owning the end-to-end outcomes with a swarm of agents. We already have hours of discussions with PMs, and that would definitely leave some rub-off. It only takes intentional skill acquisition to become product builders. And among the PM, Engineer, and Designer, an engineer can talk to customers in the morning, scope the product while building it in the afternoon, ship it in the evening, and debug any production issues at night seamlessly, if enough skin in the game and incentive is made available.
