This is a lie‼️ These are Christians who were in their house, trying to protect their homes from Islamic terrorists that were threatening to invade & kill them. Their only crime was trying to protect their family with machetes, I knew this rubbish would happen, I knew you guys would twist the story.

This can’t be it, man. Feels like I’m constantly playing catch up, with work, people, everything. There’s barely time for family, rest, or anything outside the grind. Or am I the one getting it wrong?

You sack Thomas Tuchel who has just won the Champions league for the club, replaced him with “Graham Potter” who shouldn’t even be coaching high school kids. You sack Enzo Maresca who has just won the club World Cup less than 6 months ago, replaced him by a Tech bro named Rosenior Clearlake, are you not mad???

Country dey spoil dey go, afrobeats is busy with bumbum & Bahamas, Nollywood & a dozen unrealistic Lekki romance everyday, everyone else & their cousin trying to be the next viral skit maker. When & how do we actually start building a future that works for all of us.

Prior to his death, Eric Dane sat for an interview with the understanding that it would only be shared with the world after he passed. In that conversation, he reflected on his battle with ALS, his struggles with addiction, and his marriage to Rebecca Gayheart: “I will never, by the time anybody sees this, have fallen in love with another woman as deeply as I fell in love with Rebecca.” Famous Last Words is now on Netflix.

Dear unilaw and law school graduates, Do not be discouraged by the bad stories about how poor young lawyers get paid and treated. While these confessions are important to guide you in your journey ahead, do not let them scare you away from pursuing what you have passion for. We still have seniors who have conscience; we have seniors that are good; and seniors that prioritise the welfare and pay of their lawyers. You might just be lucky like some of us were. Some of us who advocate for better pay and working conditions for you from those who have not only made a name but enormous wealth in the profession never had to worry about these things growing up. Personally, I have never had to worry about being paid well. If at anytime I felt the need to change job, it’s most likely because I was bored, and saturated and I needed a bigger challenge, of course with better pay.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but it’s not embarrassing to return home when the pastures abroad are no longer greener. Why are people so ashamed to come back? You tried, it didn’t work. Ehehn? Dey come house na. Why should that be shameful? Some would rather struggle abroad (even when there is clearly no light at the end of the tunnel), than nurse the thought of returning. While for some it’s because of the epileptic state of Nigeria, you’d be surprised that for many others, it’s the stigma of japada, the idea that going back to your roots after saying goodbye is a indication of failure. You’d see people return and no longer want to stay where they were before they travelled so people they left back home won’t see them. Lol. Anyways, this is your sign that coming back doesn’t make you a failure. If you know you can thrive better here, why not return? Not everyone will make it big abroad, and that’s okay. Don’t be embarrassed to come home and try again.♥️
