Follow-up: 75 year old grandfather watches NXT a handful of times every year, all of them with me (because I like to torture the old bastard). If WWE wanted Hobbs on TV, he would’ve been on TV by now. “The WWE Way” isn’t some secret, elusive format. It’s learning how to wrestle on TV. How to accommodate commercial breaks, and the hardcam. Things which Hobbs already has a firm grasp on, being that he wrestled in AEW, on TV, numerous times.

@jennmint I don’t think it’s a fumble so much as Danhausen is a much better fit for WWE. If he did the same vignettes in AEW, I think they may work but not as much of a slam dunk as they are with WWE.

I don’t typically do the whole “Tony fumbled” this person or that person because it’s super tribalism and is typically inapplicable. But Danhausen might really have been a fumble because dude is pretty much printing money at this point.
