Even if you think Helenius shouldn’t have been called for skating through the crease and dragging Dobes’ stick with him, the goal shouldn’t have been allowed due to Quinn’s stick pushing Dobes’ glove past the line anyway. Puck only crossed the line because the glove was pushed

@_JordanDecker I guess you could say maybe you don’t call the top one. But they were calling everything in those first two periods. They chilled out in the third when they saw the Sabres actually could win and didn’t want to look like it was a blatant rig job.

I don’t know how people see the top one as a dive. His skates collide. You’re going down 100% of the time. I’m assuming anyone claiming that one’s a dive has never played.
Can’t defend the bottom one though. That’s a sell.

@kay_imw I went to Preds-Canadiens game in Nashville in March. Wore my Sabres sweatshirt. Told Habs fan in restroom jokingly that Sabres would beat them in playoffs (in good fun). Let’s just say Habs fans don’t have a real big sense of humor! Go Sabres!

@jtvan44 @PierreLucMathi1 Not nearly as much. And the refs didn’t call many penalties on the Habs. Don’t get me wrong, the Sabres legit did do stupid penalties. But not as many as that was called.
