The MSU had the privilege of speaking to both the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance in #HamOnt. The focus of the conversation centred on Budget 2024’s investments for youth & students, including many housing initiatives, plus greater access to mental health resources.

The MSU General Assembly serves as an opportunity to participate in the decision-making process of the MSU and have an opportunity to direct the organizations actions. GA will take place at Burridge Gym on Wednesday March 27, 2024 at 5:00pm.

FCC is hosting our first-ever Thyme to Paint. 🎨 This event is on Feb 28 from 12:30am- 2pm at Musc 318! We will be painting plant pot and providing herb seeds and soils for all attendees. There is no cost associated with this event. Feel free to donate to our campus food bank

It’s an exciting day at @McMasterU with the opening of The Hub, 40,000 square feet of student activity space operated by @MSU_McMaster. This was a partnership btwn the Univ and MSU, made possible by students, who voted in ‘17 to create this space for the generations who follow.

Jovan Popovic has won the 2024 MSU Presidential election. He will serve as President for the 2024/25 academic year. Voter turnout for the election was 16.4%; a notable increase from the previous election. The President takes office on May 1 each year and serves a 12-month term.

Each year, the MSU conducts a series of reviews for a few of its student services. Each survey entrant has a chance to win one of four $50 gift cards! Survey closes January 28th. Visit msumcmaster.ca/macfeedback for more info!
