Watching with horror as we guard FDA approved meds with an iron fist while patients decline and die of persistent infection.

@liamsLCjourney I have two questions (1) is your dataset accessible online somewhere as well? (2) I presume all “analysis” was done with AI, can you talk a little bit about how extensively you validated the analysis that it did?

Excited to announce our results from the first ever survey on GLP-1s for Long COVID and ME! Patient outcomes showed two extremes: while 53% improved, 28% experienced worsening, some long after their last dose. Full analysis here and in the tweets below: lcmedata.org/treatments/glp…

This young man died just this week of the same Chronic Fatigue (MECFS) that you find funny @TheDailyShow The suffering he endured is incomprehensible. Millions have developed similar severe & life altering fatigue symptoms now from Long Covid. NONE of this is remotely funny.

Sorry to report that musician and poet James Strazza passed away this week. He had been suffering from severe ME since 2019. Condolences to family and friends.🕯️🕊️💙 (There's a link to his website in his Twitter bio.) #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis #MECFS

Health experts are getting chronic fatigue syndrome from having to repeatedly explain that hantavirus is NOT another Covid

@jonstewart is such an insufferable POS that he has no earthly idea how horrific the suffering from “chronic fatigue syndrome” can be. I wish he could see the shocking images of Stefan Arce who can ho longer tolerate food or movement. How is this funny Jon?? Are we making fun of untreated AIDS patients next? Where do we draw the line Jon? x.com/stefan_arce/st…
Adam@ABrokenBattery

TW: Jon Stewart recently joked about hantavirus coverage and said: “this virus can cause Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, mostly amongst the experts who have to repeatedly answer the same questions.”

I’ve wondered this myself. I feel it would be too easy to ignore. The U.S. right now is an absolute firehose of bad news. Who wants to consume any additional grief willingly? If it “makes the news” … what does that even mean now? who even sees it? This story would be read by people who are already aware. In the protests waged by disability rights activists in the late 70s, they occupied a federal building (and had very specific demands). The occupiers had highly visible disabilities & could be in public for long periods of time. The length & location & visual impact of this action is what created change. Would a bunch of passive bodies on a lawn for one afternoon make an impact? In the U.S., I don’t know if it does.

Why are Lie Down Protests not happening outside of Germany? What are the bottlenecks, and what needs to happen to make them happen? Constructive replies only.

I haven’t made up anything. This is the name given by the Long Covid researchers who discuss our subset of patients. Give me the name of a prominent and respected LC researcher who denies PVS? Even THE CEO OF MODERNA discusses the fact that THEY KNOW that their vaccine causes issues. This is the CEO in a recent interview discussing the “spike protein garbage” that “we think was creating some of the problem.” So, now their product is garbage? Pretty strong language for something that isn’t causing harm, right?

@mswalker @cheryl_josie @HarrySpoelstra @Invivyd You made up a disease, and you want it substantiated. Luckily for you, there are few things that haven't been noted and investigated, and thousands of studies to affirm the safety of vaccines. But calling it a "syndrome" is affirming the conclusion without an antecedent argument.

🚨This landmark target-trial emulation delivers a stark verdict: a third COVID-19 booster dose provides NO meaningful protection against Long COVID. It confirms earlier high-quality evidence and delivers a blunt verdict: once the primary series is done, further doses do not mitigate post-infection chronic illness(LC). ➡️Preventing infection itself is the only remaining effective lever against Long COVID. #Mitigation #AvoidSars2 #AvoidReinfections sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

I’m aware of the VAERS system & I was far too sick to do any of that when this happened to me. I could barely visit the Dr at that time. I asked my Dr to report it & he said that it wasn’t real. There is NOBODY getting compensated for these injuries & I really don’t want money, I want research, treatments and more transparency.

Tuberculosis spreads widely (1 in 5!) at a San Francisco school. Measles is surging. RSV & Flu numbers remain high, well into spring. Post-COVID population immunity really doesn’t seem okay.

@mswalker @LukeKaven @HarrySpoelstra @Invivyd Vaccine injury does not cause long Covid. x.com/aguirre1gustav…
Dr. Gustavo Aguirre-Chang@Aguirre1Gustavo

We Reaffirm that THE MAIN ADVERSE EFFECTS OF THE COVID VACCINE THAT CAUSE POST-VACCINATION SYNDROME (PVS) ARE THE REACTIVATION OF PERSISTENT INFECTIONS THAT WERE LATENT, AND THE ALTERATION OF THE MICROBIOTA. See details at: researchgate.net/publication/35… We have corroborated these findings by performing the diagnosis through peripheral blood smears and specialized analyses (FISH, AI-powered blood tests, etc.) and then by observing the response to treatment, with significant improvement in most symptoms. We are clear that, in general, the root causes of acquired chronic diseases are external or environmental agents, primarily microorganisms and toxins. Autoimmunity, hyperinflammation, histamine intolerance, hypercoagulability, and dysfunctions (mitochondrial, autonomic, endothelial, adrenal, thyroid) are never the root cause of acquired diseases; they are effects or consequences caused by external agents other than the human body. These external agents may have entered the body when the patient was a child or adolescent and remain latent for years or a lifetime. In patients with PVS, the following frequently occur: Ø Latent infections reactivate. Ø The microbiota is altered, resulting in polymicrobial overgrowth, especially in the digestive tract, with polymicrobial translocation into the bloodstream. Ø Opportunistic infections may develop. Ø There may be persistent presence of the spike protein. In patients with severe PVS, two or three of these causes usually coexist in the same patient, resulting in a persistent polymicrobial infection. The most frequently identified pathogens are: · Babesia. · Bartonella. · Mycoplasma. · SARS-CoV-2. · Borrelia. · Opportunistic fungi (Microsporidia, Candida, Malassezia). · Others. This is similar to what occurs in patients with long COVID, as detailed in the graph at the following link: researchgate.net/publication/40…

Show me the research that proves that it’s rare. They’re not even remotely attempting to understand the magnitude of the problem. My chart has me diagnosed with “long covid” because there is no ICD10 code for PVS. Where am I being counted? None of our cases are being counted- anywhere.

@mswalker @LukeKaven @HarrySpoelstra @Invivyd One major stumbling block for studying post-vaccine syndrome is its rarity. So although vaccine injury has been well-studied, post-vaccine syndrome has not. This is more than a linguistic distinction.

It seems unlikely that I had “never had Covid” by Jan, ‘24… but I had never had symptoms or a positive test 🤷‍♀️ Who knows- The clue that makes me more sure that it was a vax response was that vax#5 was so different from those previous. For two days, I felt zero effects- no fever, aches, headache (unlike the 4 previous, which were so bad for me). Then on day 3, my dramatic decline began. I had no idea that people were genuinely being injured by the vaccine. I thought it was all bots & trolls stirring the pot🙁

@mswalker @HarrySpoelstra @Invivyd I kept wondering if worsening health could be linked but so much nonsense was also being spouted it was hard to know what to believe. That final booster was undeniable though 🧠🔥 Guess I’d already had the virus so immune system couldn’t take the hit. Sorry we’re in same boat.

@elle_carnitine I can’t accept these AEs (of which I suffer) being called “rare” until we actually do the work to (1) collect the data, and (2) study their incidence rates. We are doing neither. There is no ICD10 code in my chart showing that my symptoms began in the days following my booster. My chart says “long covid.” The studies proclaiming that the vaccine is “safe” do NOT take into account any of our life altering symptoms! I didn’t have a heart attack or stroke or GBS- so I’m… not even counted. Chronic fatigue & dysautonomia can be SEVERE outcomes, and yet- they’re not included amongst those that they even track. We just need better science around this. Until then, please, let’s not toss around terms that imply prevalence like “rare” until we can put some real analysis and meaning behind it.

@VirusesImmunity @NatRevImmunol My sincere thanks for this. A genuinely pro-vaccine strategy has to take care of the rare adverse events it causes, and that requires rigorous and serious empirical investigation into these rare cases
