@djchippy @DaveThroup Can remember as a kid watching the river hull getting dredged, nowadays the river must be nearly half width in places with silt/reeds!

@DaveThroup If the rivers had been dredged like they used to be before this net zero scam we wouldn’t be flooded

My position, to be clear: Drain maintenance is a good thing and can reduce flood risk. Drain maintenance would not have prevented Monmouth flooding last night.

Looking forward to a quick trip to one of my favourite cities next week. Having a good friend who farms half way between Berlin and Hannover is definitely one of my better career choices over the years 😁🇩🇪🇩🇪

@LimeyBruce @VodafoneUK EE is fairly very good, consistent signal 99% of the time. Might loose it in some of the field dips. 5G is getting better as well.

What phone network do people favour? I’m on @VodafoneUK and it’s crap! You can’t even get 5G on on the outskirts of York! You struggle to get anymore than one bar of 4G just 6miles north of York! It’s been crap since the turning off of 3G! Please sort it out @VodafoneUK!

@HillviewSmallh1 do they do that all year round Geoff? I presumed they would go quiet during the winter?

People with a few free range chickens, how many weeks a year do you expect them to lay? 35? 40? And would you say 90% laying is about right or lower?

@woodboroughpark In my 2nd year with one(non gps)and very happy with it, Absolute time saver, saving a lot with fuel, hardly uses any electric. Mine is on the limit, next model up would be better but bit of a jump in money for it. Doing just short of 2ksq/m. Looking at a week be better than a day

We have been trialling a Husqvarna robotic mower (GPS). I would be interested to know of others’ experiences? (I don’t think it cuts anywhere near the claimed area in a day - as in possibly no more than 60%)?

Hard to believe just 10 months ago (nearly) she was a 28 week 2lb baby - she truly is the toughest. It’s been a very hard road, one that has changed us all forever but never for a moment do I forget how lucky we are to have her. Nearly time to get back to sugar beet 🌱🌱

@SpudSlingsby @_arnaucanto_ I was lucky enough to have a pre production version and sadly I miss not having it now! With bulk of the chemicals it was quicker and had a more thorough can wash system in place. When products get more consistent with the lids etc I would like to request getting one.

I've been spraying since 1994. In that time, professionalism, tech, traceability and responsibility has moved on massively. Why then, is packaging so bloody crap, in every single way?
