It makes sense. I got like 600k subs in two months when Genshin launched. It is the mass majority of subscribers on my channel. I then lost subs from older games, and continued to replace them with Gacha fans. I genuinely think the channel is trapped forever.

Replace Sugary drinks with lemon water and a PINCH of sugar -> ween off this until just water daily. High protein meals that keep you full longer. Daily walking, pushups, sit ups, and if you can, chin ups / dead hangs. and the #1 tip: DON'T HAVE THE SNACKS IN THE HOUSE

Did @TheDivisionGame just get a huge opportunity for a third game to claim some mega looter shooter market share? Did any of you NOT play division because you were busy playing Destiny?

@MoxsyOG I think it is maybe the "vampire survivor" vibes during farming. Like when you get some goated builds going, you just FARM and feel like a god. Some people love that. Running around nuking the full screen as bunny on First descendant had that vibe too

I feel like this is the biggest complaint with most Looter Shooters/ ARPGs. Lack of endgame. Anthem, Outriders, launch D4, etc. Yet Warframe is now the longest standing game in the genre and it legitimately lacks endgame. What’s their secret?

Waiting for the Destiny 1/2 Documentary to truly know what happened. This is actually so crazy I can't stop thinking about it all.

@TalkativeTri I've seen this sentiment from people who are really in the community. But as someone that played at launch, this is the first time I even wanted to try the game again because of all the changes. Looks like a brand new game to me

Why is a ton of the Path of Exile 2 discourse I am reading: "Nothing will change, everything is the same" as if there aren't a bunch of balance changes, a ton of unknowns (new items, ascendancy buffs, new challenges to encounter, new item affixes), and more? If the game's too boring, swap it up - don't follow a build guide, don't play the MOST META OP BROKEN stuff out there, you might enjoy it. I tried this with speedrunning and have had a blast. Maybe you'll have more fun if you're not copying your favorite creator's build and thoughts 1-1 ;) Am I INSANE??

I owe so much to Destiny. My wife & I (who I met playing Halo) were so excited to try out the new Bungie IP. We had just moved in together (bf/gf at the time) and had bought posters that we framed before it even came out because we thought the art direction was so sick - she got a Titan Poster, and I got a Hunter Poster (didn't know I'd end up becoming a Warlock main 😅) We were just instantly hooked. It was so different than any game we had ever played. Meanwhile, I was at a low point in my post-college 9-5 career. I had graduated with a degree in Film & TV Production + a minor in creative writing, and landed a job at an advertising agency in NY. It was a paycheck... but I was creatively unfulfilled, and I wasn't happy. I told my gf I wanted to try making some videos as a hobby - I had been inspired by seeing D1 alpha videos by @DattosDestiny, and thought I could find a new creative outlet as a hobby. I started with videos for Halo: MCC (Halo being my original obsession), and then pivoted to Destiny content because the game continued to pull me in. I met so many people that would become lifelong friends, but I didn't know it at the time. I met other small-time passionate creators, podcasters, and more. I had found my creative outlet and then some. I got advice from amazing people like @MTashed who always told me how good he thought my content was, & was always in my corner - saying I could easily go full time. For years, I would work my 9-5, then come home to punch in at my 'other job': streaming, grinding, & making videos. It was demanding, and at times, incredibly exhausting. But I had found my people. Finally, I made the decision to make the plunge & go full time, and it remains the most soul-satisfying career move I ever made. The memories. The challenges. The community we've all built, together, over a number of years playing this incredible game. Over the past 2 years or so, I've been branching out with covering other games which have all been a blast, and I'll continue to do so... but Destiny was my anchor. Even though I've been covering it much less lately, the news from yesterday will forever leave a hole in my heart. Even when time marches on, and it slowly begins to scar over, I'll always feel that it's there... but I'll also feel the fond, unreplaceable memories I've collected playing Destiny for years & years. No matter what I read in the gaming journalist tabloids, I'll forever remain hopeful for some kind of future for this incredible, un-matchable franchise... because I know in my heart of hearts, that if we ALL woke up one day just to see that tweet of a giant "3" hovering out in space, the reaction would be simply nuclear.

@Zizaran My Sony FX30 is pretty wicked... but maybe overkill. I bet there is a better option for half the price. I just wanted it for some hockey filming for my sons team and other stuff aside from streaming

My camera for streaming broke (Sony a6000) it lasted quite a few years, any streamers got any decent recommendations? 500-2000$ range?

Thank god we can all still jump in and play Anthem now that Destiny 2 is over! I think Anthem really has a chance to take some market share now! Right!?

I just can't come to terms with this man We might never do a day 1 raid again. Might never feel that feeling of working together to solve an ARG or secret in this amazing world. Might never feel that sense of community again. I dont fucking get it. I just dont fucking get it

Here’s what’s gonna happen: D2 is officially over. Bungie ain’t going nowhere. Sony obviously ain’t either. Marathon isn’t “that” game to carry forward. Another game, maybe D3 or something like, is coming. We will hear an announcement sooner than later. It’s only logical.

At MY last Bungie Summit, we discussed Destiny 2, and the future of the game. I still remember them saying: "If you ever want Destiny 3, Destiny 2 cannot be supported at the same time. It would have to be a clear break off in order for us to build it." youtu.be/F6lUE2r07Mo

End of an era: I privated all of my content because some of my Genshin videos get 1-2k views every single day, and I believe it keeps telling the algorithm that is my primary content. Going to see what happens if I just start "fresh". Experiment begins today lol.
