I bet Trump will start claiming that ships are being rescued and are sailing through the strait when in reality no such thing is happening. Trump will just SAY it and his gaslit support base will cheer, even when no ships are actually moving. He has reached the point where he just spins fairy tales and some people still believe they are true.

US inflation expectations are surging: The US 10-year breakeven rate is up to 2.47%, the highest since February 2025. Excluding Q1 2025, this is the highest level since October 2023. In turn, 1-year inflation expectations are up to 3.26%, the highest since September 2022. Furthermore, 2-year inflation expectations are up to 2.81%, the highest since November 2022. All while US consumer 12-month inflation expectations remained above 6% for the 2nd consecutive month in April. Inflation is back.

The IRGC reportedly carried out a missile strike on two ships attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz at night. The IRGC Navy reports that the ships turned off their transponders and were operating in the interests of the US Navy.

NATO is holding closed-door meetings with film and TV screenwriters, directors and producers across Europe and the US. NATO has held three meetings with film and TV professionals in Los Angeles, Brussels and Paris and is due to continue its “series of intimate conversations” next month in London. The topic of conversation at the meeting, to be held under the Chatham House rule – in which participants are free to use information received, but identities of attenders are not revealed – will be the “evolving security situation in Europe and beyond”. The U.S. military has long used Hollywood to promote its criminal schemes. A thoroughly discredited NATO is now adopting the propaganda tactics of the U.S. military.
