Fasset is building financial products that are structured around Shariah principles. That’s not just branding. That’s architecture. In traditional finance, returns usually come from interest. In Islamic finance, interest (riba) isn’t allowed. So the structure changes. Returns must come from: • Asset-backed investments • Profit-sharing agreements • Trade-based financing • Real economic activity Now put that on-chain. That means you’re not just tokenizing value. You’re tokenizing structure. And that’s much harder to fake. From a technical perspective, this forces discipline: – Assets must be identifiable – Revenue sources must be traceable – Risk must be shared, not shifted Blockchain actually makes this more transparent if used properly.From a user perspective, this matters more than people think. There’s a huge population globally that wants access to modern financial tools… but doesn’t want to compromise their principles. That’s an underserved market. My opinion? If Fasset gets this right, they’re not just building a fintech.They’re building a bridge between traditional Islamic finance and programmable assets. But here’s where I’d push them further: 1. Break down each product structure in simple language. 2. Publish independent Shariah advisory verification clearly. 3. Educate users inside the app not just on the website. Because compliance isn’t just about being halal. It’s about being understood.
