I’m almost there. In 4 more days, I’ll have gone 1 entire year w/o chocolate, bread, or pasta. Chicken, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, avocados, blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, protein powder, & hearts of palm have completely transformed my life for the better.

I don't remember anything being a favourite. It was incredibly bland, but as I was not eating rich food, fat or sugar my taste buds adjusted and became fine with it. I also lost 70 pound during an 18 month period which included that year and ate about 1200 calories a day. When on form I eat a salad that might have 15 or more different plant-based items on it - so it is colourful and intersting. So large I struggle to eat it in an hour, but never any sense of bloating as with meat etc. If I did it again I would probably add a bit of protein powder and a tin of sardines once a week and a dressing to the salad.
