For 248 years, the U.S. Marine Corps' courage and sacrifice has been an inspiration to our country and allies. But this proud legacy is being tarnished by a domestic enemy: @SenTuberville

Student debt cancelation is “unconstitutional,” but Supreme Court justices receiving bribes from billionaires is ok?

Let me get this straight... Students getting relief from onerous debt is unconstitutional. But justices secretly getting hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars in gifts, vacations, and free housing and education for their family members is just fine. Hello?

@shacktoms @DylanOgline Hiring someone to pick up sticks in your yard doest make you a business owner. Stay with the subject.

@DylanOgline So if I want someone to pick up the sticks in my yard, I need to pay them $30,000? I'm not going to do that, but what if they really need money? Would it ever be ok to hire them for a mutually agreeable wage? Or do you just want them to starve rather than help me? How about UBI?

Just saw somebody try to argue that minimum wage isn't supposed to be a living wage. That their small business can't afford to pay a living wage. If the only way your business can exist is the exploitation of labor (aka peoples actual lives), then your business should not exist.

@Savannahtony @DylanOgline Teens have to go to school during the day so who is going to work at those jobs while the people the jobs were "meant for" are at school?

@DylanOgline Some jobs were never meant for raising a family! They were starter jobs for teens - ie McDonald’s jobs where they learned what it meant to be responsible and take pride in earning their own money. I spent $35 on 3 small McDonald’s cardboard hamburger meals. It defeats the purpose!

@meowbarkchirp @DylanOgline Companies paying below a living wage should be required to include this in their job advertisement. "Now hiring workers that don't have to pay any bills and don't need to make enough money to live."

@DylanOgline Minimum wage is not suppose to be a living wage. It’s the lowest legal wage for unskilled labor.

@RobbieRob618 @yourbizdr @DylanOgline Did you only hire high schools kids that you knew for sure did not have to support themselves or anyone else? Did you discriminate in order to do this?

Very untrue brian. I’ve owned two businesses and I’ve employed many people with jobs at $12 an hour, the jobs were perfect for high school aged kids and just what they needed to afford to pay for their car and insurance with a little extra spending money. It filled a specific niche and was a win win for them and the business. Not every job is designed to support a family.

A Florida teen begged an Appeals court to allow her to have an abortion. She wanted to stay in school. She said she wasn’t ‘ready.’ Court ruled she wasn’t ‘mature’ enough to have an abortion. Republicans are passing bills to allow children to work longer hours, including in jobs that are currently prohibited such as serving alcohol. So not mature enough to have a medical procedure , but mature enough to deliver a baby and work long hours and serve alcohol? This is sick and depraved. #FreshWords

President Biden just gave the perfect response to the Trump indictment: “I have no comment at all.” It’s so refreshing to have a president who doesn’t interfere with the justice system & who actually cares about the rule of law & democracy.

Today is indeed a dark day for the United States of America. It is unconscionable for a President to indict the leading candidate opposing him. Joe Biden kept classified documents for decades. I, and every American who believes in the rule of law, stand with President Trump against this grave injustice. House Republicans will hold this brazen weaponization of power accountable.

Dear @SpeakerMcCarthy: Presidents don’t indict. The Trump Indictment came from grand jurors. You know this but you are intentionally misleading the public. And you have no idea if this indictment is, as you say, an “injustice” because you have not seen the evidence. Do better.

Never before has a former president been indicted for a federal crime. By indicting Trump & holding him accountable for his actions, America’s justice system is once again showing its strength & reminding us all: No one is above the law in this country, not even former presidents
