@adam_messinger AFAIK, traditional vehicles insurance would consider an undisclosed mod a consideration for non-coverage. My guess: disclosures are sporadic and vary greatly, so hard to price into rate. More generally, the regulatory approach to vehicle mods varies considerably state to state.

It’s very strange to me that car modifications, at least those that could impact the validity safety test results, don’t result in some type of strict liability (and consequently higher insurance rates).
