Standing shoulder to shoulder with thousands of farmers this evening in opposition to the British government's plan to cut inheritance tax relief for farmers.
These proposed changes will be a major blow to family farms and rural communities, coming at a time when many continue to struggle with so many pressures.
I will continue to work alongside our rural communities and with all parties to stand up for the rural way of life and this vital support for our farmers.

As Health Minister, Simon Harris and the Government signed-off on the contract for the main phase of construction of the National Children’s Hospital - a project now burdened by an outrageous €1.5bn overspend.
Tonight he is trying to distance himself from this scandal and is running from his record.
Enough is enough - It’s time to change the government! On November 29th, vote Sinn Féin!

the way simon harris speaks to mary lou mcdonald is genuinely concerning. i’m not even a sinn féin fan but the vitriol he speaks to her with in comparison to everyone else is wild and just not conducive to being any type of leader, totally unable to compose himself #RTEUpfront

How did parties perform - proportionally to the constituencies they contested - compared to 2019?
SF: 35.1% (+7.9)
DUP: 25.1% (-7.5)
AP: 15.0% (-1.8)
SDLP: 11.1% (-6.7)
UUP: 12.8% (-0.3)
TUV: 7.9% (new)
PBP: 7.1% (-1.4)
GP: 1.9% (+0.2)
This measures the share of the vote parties received where they contested (eg. 14 constituencies for SF, 16 for the DUP, etc).

The EU Migration Pact is not in Ireland’s interest. Today in the Dáil the government voted to opt-in to all of it
We must have the flexibility to create and manage a migration system that is fair, efficient and enforced.
Handing wholesale control over migration to Europe is against our interests. My speech 👇
