I know we did pretty good with our doggo. We adopted him from a high-kill shelter when he was already over 5 yrs old & he passed from liver failure (with assistance before it broke him) at 14 last Oct. We had almost 9 yrs with him, but I wish we got just 1 or 2 more with him 💔😢
