The Catholic Champion Award is given in honor of Our Lady of Champion who charged Servant of God Adele Brice with the task of teaching the Catholic faith to the children of “this wild country,” saying, “Go and fear nothing, I will help you.” Catholics for Catholics’ mission is to evangelize, with zeal and courage, America through public prayer, powerful media, and strategic political action. Lenten Journal Day (Saint Joseph) Dear Diary: Today is the day of a huge Catholic event that I’ve been asked to attend. I’ve been hearing and seeing a lot of criticism, defamation, ridicule and hate directed towards the people running it, speaking at it and attending it. I’ve heard the term spiritual battle being used and I can say that I’ve been experiencing seriously disturbing events within the last 12 hours. I fully expect this to continue and increase throughout the day. I’m not going into detail but there are things happening to my family back home and to myself here in DC. It’s even gotten to the point that I was asked to deny Christ and convert to Islam. This fight needs serious prayer.
