I came into the PGL 2024 Copenhagen Major with 2 clear goals; 1. Deliver the best possible coverage on/off the official PGL stream 🫡 2. Do a cycling training camp in my hotel room, while watching the games I wasn’t actively working on 🚴‍♂️ That I feel I’ve done the first 8 days of the major, and that makes me insanely happy. Today we round off the final group stage day and lock in the final 3 teams for the playoffs, banger day! Update (TL;DR at the bottom) As the story with TV2 broke early to the public. I didn't have proper time to write a statement. So just a quick update from my side and reflection on the last few years. I took a break from competitive CS in early 2022 after being benched, as I simply didn't have the same passion for playing. I could have continued elsewhere, but I wanted to explore all possibilities before making an important decision. In the start of 2022 I got offered a full time role at the analyst broadcast role for TV2, as I had some prior work with them. I did think about it a lot, as I still had a “name” and “talent” in the scene But I decided to actually go for the TV2 role. So I spoke with Astralis about mutual termination of my contract, and told them that I would like to do something else for the next period. And they respected my choice It came to a lot of people's surprise that I wasn't gonna continue playing, but I really wanted to try something different after playing for 5-6 years. I got challenged at TV2 constantly learning and overcoming new tasks. But sadly it wasn’t sustainable for them to keep going into 2024, and that means everybody got laid off. I always worked on different projects on the side, which doesn’t mean i'm going jobless into next year. So what will the future look like? I realized that I enjoy the broadcast role more than actually playing, even though both are a privilege. (CS:GO / CS2) I won't be returning to active play, probably also washed atm ^^. But If I was offered an opportunity or a chance to do some part-time analyst broadcast work at ESL, BLAST or any TO sending CS in 2024. Then I'm always open to talk, both for Danish and English opportunities. I currently have 2+ years of live broadcast experience with 5 years of recent pro level play, combined with relevant tactical insight into top teams and coaches. While also maintaining a high individual level at FaceIT, which also helps me keep being on my toes. TL;DR: I took a break from competitive CS after being benched and joined TV2. I enjoyed it but sadly, TV2 stopped. I won't return to playing but am open to analyst broadcast opportunities in 2024. - Bubzkji

One thing I absolutely miss from TOs is personal medals. What happened with them? One thing is getting a trophy - which is massive - but I assume most clubs/organisations will claim that.. which is fair! So, a medal for a personal reminder has always, imo, been very nice 🤟🏼
