I get that tourism is important BUT surely there’s a better system than the military/police waving through white-skinned people to jump the fuel queue? What if these tourists weren’t white skinned? How many of them are Israelis who caused this situation in the first place?

Israel fired missiles at Iran. We said nothing. Israel crushed Gazans under tank tracks. We said nothing. Israel killed Palestinians in the West Bank. We said nothing. Israel is murdering civilians in Lebanon. We said nothing. Now Israel is rocketing Iran. We say nothing. After all the years of screaming "Iranian bomb!" and "Muslim terrorists!" it seems like that's not the problem. Israel is the centre of 90% of the problems in the Middle East.
