I recently received word from my contact @NatForestCo that the #TreeClubWood dedication plaque has been installed. Today J and I made a spontaneous day trip to take a photo of it for everyone. J inspected the tree growth! A very special day. #TreeClub🌳 @WoodlandNomad

I love the joined up thinking of @ukhomeoffice passport renewal service… not! Renewed both our p/ports on line (no issues 👍) but then told to send each old p/port to different addresses so double signed for delivery charges. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I guess it’s random for security but c’mon folks

So here it is, 36 and a good bit years serving the crown and it ends today, a long 🧵 First as a submariner and then a cop, I’ve done things and seen things that were awe inspiring and most will never see then before or again. I’ve been to the Falklands, after the war of course
