They will be holding a portfolio review in Los Angeles at Anime Expo. I don't know about you, but I don't read manga or engage with Japanese media for California-esque sensibilities, especially having seen what that has done to nearly every other form of entertainment. Manga & other Japanese media have been a refuge from all of that nonsense, because at heart, it is authentically Japanese regardless of where the artists take inspiration from & should remain as such. All of this is really just part of the same effort to "globalize" Japan & have them accept infinity immigration & incompatible cultures, because subversion through media is one of the greatest tools to spread influence.
