@Francis_Joseph This is such a disturbing trend - how would we react if a doctor or a lawyer took a similar approach. There is so much to learn that outside the realm of just sitting examinations.

NEW TREND: This year there is a new trend in B.Ed. college admissions in Mumbai. Students are opting for B.Ed colleges where they don't need to attend full-time classes and just attend to appear for examinations. Practice teaching is also a mystery. The 1st question that a student asks a B.Ed college is whether they can remain absent while doing their B.Ed full time programme. This is a serious problem as the teaching qualification is a full-time course & colleges are now changing their models by reducing in-house teachers to suit this wrong practice. This won't help Teacher Education. Bringing this for the kind intervention of @ncte @KesangYSherpa @EduMinOfIndia @Uni_Mumbai
