Last I’ll say on it cause my heads fully gone but we all take things for granted don’t we. We don’t realise how fragile time is. Say to your friends and family and love ones that’ll you’ll see them later but you never know what’s to come. Football can bring out the best and worst in people but it’s the loss of someone we all love through football that makes us all realise life is precious and the small things are meaningless. Can’t even get my head around how his loved ones are feeling. Parents lost two sons in the blink of an eye. Hopefully the football world respects their space and shows the respect they deserve. As a fan, you’re allowed to grieve the loss of a man who put a smile on your face for 5 years. He led us to victory. Diogo 20 ❤️

When you passionately follow a football team and share the love for them with friends and family you love it feels like losing a family member.
Absolutely heartbreaking, R.I.P Diogo and brother and god help your family.

I hope his children grow up to know their Dad was loved by literally millions of football fans across the world.
A champion with both his club and his country.
Rest in peace Diogo.

Immortalise him. Write him into the fabric of this club and never let anyone forget who he is. Once a Red, always a Red.
