@Keir_Starmer Tell them not to look back in anger as you do when British people are told to do when they’re slaughtered on the streets of the UK by Muslims.

I condemn the deadly attack on a mosque in San Diego. My thoughts are with those affected. I know many Muslims in the UK will be shaken by this, worried about their safety when going about their lives and attending mosque, and what it says about the times we’re living in. I understand those fears. Violence like this does not happen in a vacuum. It grows in an environment where division and anti-Muslim hostility are normalised. That is intolerable. We must all come together against it.

Keir Starmer: Muslims in the UK ‘shaken’ by a San Diego mosque attack, full outrage mode. But Christian genocide in Nigeria? Thousands slaughtered, churches burned for years… total silence. We all know why.

Oh he doesn’t do that. Henry Nowak, Wayne Broadhurst, the list sadly goes on and on Yet Starmer doesn’t make a peep. Why? Because he knows it’s bad for him politically But denouncing violence against Muslims 5000 miles away is good for him politically to win votes, so he condemns.

Today, a horrific shooting at a mosque in California. This weekend, far-right protesters in London spread Islamophobia and abused police. Hate like this must be confronted. We stand together and oppose bigotry wherever we see it.

@EdwardJDavey We need to roll back laws that dilute our freedom of speech. Islam is an ideology and it can and should be mocked and criticised along with all others. Stop bending the knee to Islamists you weak fool.

We have to fight back. The march is symptomatic of taboos around racism, Antisemitism and Islamophobia diluting and weakening. This is extremely dangerous. We need to do three things:

Though smaller than last year, the Unite the Kingdom march over the weekend was still sickening. The resurgence of out-and-out racism in the UK, from demands for remigration of British Asians to Antisemitic slurs on placards at both demonstrations, demands we meet this moment.

Say her name. Rhiannon Skye Whyte. I don’t see how we can keep accepting what successive governments have done to our own native people, open borders, unvetted arrivals, prioritising migrants over public safety. We remember her. We demand better.

@atniek @bobdishy @KieraDiss He couldn’t risk alienating his voting base. Which is the same reason he covered up for the Pakistani Muslim rape gangs in his area.

Andy Burnham was questioned on Labour’a abject failure handling the grooming gangs scandal, specifically those in Greater Manchester. He claims he stood against the party and initiated an inquiry himself. I think I sensed a sly dig at Rupert in there.

For anyone having a pop at Rebecca Shepherd because of her interview technique. I have a suggestion for you. SOD OFF! At the end of the day this a normal everyday girl who has agreed to do this and is probably not experienced at this stage in giving interviews (that can change) @RupertLowe10 says he intends to fill parliament with people from normal walks of life and she probably has more integrity in her little finger than half of the filth currently infesting Westminster. All play to @RestoreBritain_ and lets get her elected.
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

I am proud to announce local businesswoman Rebecca Shepherd as our Restore Britain candidate for the Makerfield constituency. Rebecca has spent most of her adult life living and working in the Wigan borough, where she has built and run her own small business. Through that experience, she understands first-hand the pressures facing local businesses and working people across the community. Like so many residents, Rebecca has seen the growing impact of rising costs, increasing legislation, red tape, and bureaucracy, which continue to make everyday life more challenging for ordinary people trying to work hard, support their families, and stay afloat. Put simply - she understands what local men and women are going through. This is the type of person we need in politics. Not career politicians, but genuine people with real life experience. Rebecca is particularly passionate about improving SEND access and support across the local area. Her interest in SEND-friendly activities comes through the work she does within her Community Interest Company, where she has seen first-hand the importance of opportunities, practical support, and activities for people with additional needs. Rebecca is standing for Makerfield because she believes local people deserve honest representation, accountability, and someone prepared to fight for the interests of the community rather than their own political careers. I look forward to campaigning with Rebecca, and putting forward Restore Britain’s positive vision for the Makerfield constituency. Rupert Lowe, Restore Britain Leader Our local priorities: Safer streets for women and girls - tackling the gangs of foreign men who harass and intimidate local women and girls in Ashton, and elsewhere across the constituency and the Wigan Borough. Fight reckless overdevelopment in areas including South Hindley, and Winstanley - roads, dentists and GPs must come before responsible house building provided for local families. Improved SEND support for those in genuine need - we must avoid overdiagnosis, but also provide proper investment to those who need it. Including a constituency-wide investment programme for the improvement and maintenance of children’s playgrounds. Tackle anti-social behaviour in Ashton and elsewhere - no-nonsense, visible policing to crack down on criminal activity in our towns. Parents too must be held responsible for what their children are inflicting on the community. We say enough is enough. Restore our high streets - push for free car parking to drive footfall, abolish business rates to reinvigorate our town centres and deliver a full investigation into the explosion of vape shops and Turkish barbers for trading standards/immigration non-compliance. We are in this to win it.

On @NEWSMAX, I reacted to Keir Starmer’s bizarre fear-mongering video ahead of the “Unite the Kingdom” border protests, which turned out NOTHING like the dystopian picture he painted. Turns out caring about your border, crime, terrorism, censorship, and the horrific grooming gang scandals doesn’t make people “racists.” It makes them regular people concerned about the future of their country. The big picture is that Starmer and Labour are barely holding on… Reform just steamrolled the political establishment by winning nearly 1,500 local races. The British have a term for a fella like Keir Starmer and his unconvincing “tough guy” act… Nancy boy. Thanks to @NEWSMAX and @IkeWingate for the great discussion.

I am proud and humbled to have been selected as Labour’s candidate for Makerfield. These proud working-class communities represent the very best values of our country and they deserve so much better. It would be my honour to work for them every day, if elected as their MP, to achieve that. Many people here feel Westminster isn’t working for them and they are right. I am standing to change that and get the voice of these communities heard loud and clear. I am glad that this by-election has finally put the places that make up the Makerfield constituency into the national spotlight. They have been neglected by national politics for too long. It is a good thing that all political parties are now on the hook to tell the voters here what they are going to do for them. More than anything, people need life to be more affordable again. As Mayor, I have brought in changes which are helping, such as the £2 fare cap, free bus travel for our 16-18 year-olds and removing the 9.30am restriction from older and disabled people’s bus passes. But there is only so much I can do from Greater Manchester. If elected, I will have a relentless focus on reducing people’s everyday costs and bills and well as securing the investment these communities need. I have been an elected representative in Greater Manchester for 25 years. Throughout that time, I have fought for the people of the North West of England on so many fronts. I am now ready to bring the whole weight of that experience to fighting for the communities of the Makerfield constituency and would be privileged to be given that opportunity.
