@jcalvinmeyer I know Kremer isn’t starting because he’s not on schedule, but if Povich is starting a game for any reason whatsoever in Week 2 you massively failed as a GM.

After a swarm of dirt bikes and off-road vehicles choked Light Street and flooded into the Inner Harbor this week, residents called on the city to take action Thursday to ensure driver safety and curtail illegal riding.
The Baltimore Police Department emailed The Sun a statement saying it is ramping up enforcement operations against dirt bikes. But they did not respond to specific questions about its strategy.

@ColeJacksonFB Another center gets a deal: $11 MM per season (max of $13 MM per). I’m telling Linderbaum to pound sand on anything over $20 MM per at this point.

The Packers and Sean Rhyan have agreed to a three-year, $33 million extension with a max value of $39 million, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Rhyan becomes one of the NFL’s highest-paid centers after nine career starts at the position. Deal negotiated by @AgentMirza, Cameron Foster and @chriscabott of @EquitySports.

The herbicide Glyphosate is one of the likely culprits in America’s chronic disease epidemic. Much more widely used here than in Europe. Shockingly, much of our exposure comes from its use as a desiccant on wheat, not as an herbicide. From there it goes straight into our bodies. My USDA will ban that practice.

🚨 “OZEMPIC HOUSES” ARE GOING VIRAL - AND PEOPLE ARE SHOCKED BY WHAT’S INSIDE
This real estate agent is walking through a brand new 350 square foot house built by Lennar.
There's no real bedroom.
No real closet.
You have to climb a ladder to get to the loft.
The shower looks like it belongs on a boat.
Every inch is compressed, stripped, and downsized.
They’re selling it as homeownership for $130,000.
Payments are in the $900/month range.
Only $1 down.
Some people call it freedom.
Others call it dystopian as hell.
Would you actually live here?

@jeffzrebiec @king_royal99 To me, it’s pretty clear it’s going to be Minter. It would be a fantastic choice.

@king_royal99 I'd go one of the offensive guys before Saleh, but that's just me.

I just want to make it abundantly clear that if this somehow happens, I will be permanently calling them the "Indiana Bears" no matter how many people unsubscribe.

One of the best to have ever done it.
> Be Alexander Hamilton
> Born 1755 (or 1757, he wasn’t sure), Caribbean.
> Illegitimate child. Single mother that dies when he’s a teenager.
> Started life broke.
> Gets job as clerk counting money.
> Becomes good at writing.
> Writes an essay so good he gets sent to colonial America.
> Enters King’s College (Columbia). Immediately starts publishing political essays.
> American Revolution breaks out. He joins.
> Forms an artillery unit at 19.
> Becomes Washington’s aide-de-camp aka chief of staff, speechwriter, and operator
> Gets frustrated being behind a desk. Demands battlefield command.
> Leads a bayonet charge at Yorktown. Nearly dies.
> War ends.
> Country is broke, fragmented, and dumb.
> Helps force the Constitutional Convention.
> Writes nonstop in defense of a strong federal government. Co-authors *The Federalist Papers*.
> Becomes first Secretary of the Treasury.
> Assumes state debts. Establishes national credit. Creates a central bank.
> Builds customs, taxation, bond markets.
> Effectively invents American capitalism.
> Jefferson calls him a monarchist. Madison turns on him.
> Knows systems outlive popularity.
> Writes constantly. Publishes essays under fake names.
> Picks fights with everyone. Cannot stop arguing.
> Starts the first major political faction.
> Aaron Burr challenges him to a duel. Hamilton shows up knowing he’ll probably die. Intentionally throws away his shot.
> Dies at 47.
Leaves behind: The Treasury system. National credit. Federal power. The blueprint for modern states.
