@MattAhlborg All funds are non-custodial! We sub swap on-chain on first incoming payment.

If I'm a first time @MuunWallet user and I deposit into to it using LN, are they holding my BTC custodially? Or does it sub swap to on-chain for me so I'm holding it non-custodial? I don't believe the latter is happening because I would be incurring a fee... but I just tried and it didn't do that. I also believe they haven't made a channel for me either... so that leaves the custodial option? I've always deposited to Muun via on-chain so never come across this.

@AC_616 @muun MUUN isnt lightning wallet. It's on chain atomic swaps. In high fee environments its completely broken. Use @PhoenixWallet @Breez_Tech @ZeusLN for REAL true lightning. Pay fees too but you take away the ease of onboarding for ease of use later on.

Holy hell! 🫨 Tried to send some Sats to my nephew via @muun. The Network fee cost more than the amount I was trying to send. It’s giving #WesterUnion fee vibes. Maybe I should know why, but I don’t. I’ll share w/my Neph too since I’m “trying” to orange pill him.🫣#help

@AC_616 That's an on-chain payments, and on-chain fees have been particularly high these days. Maybe you want to send a lightning payment?

@NEED_btc_ If you want to find the UTXOs without using the tool, the xpubs alone won't be enough, since you need both public keys, the scripts, and the derivation paths. blog.muun.com/why-not-just-a…

@NEED_btc_ If you just run the tool, it will list all your UTXOs / addresses with funds, and you can just abort the procedure there (ie. no need to sweep your funds).

does my muun wallet have an xpub? 🤔😅

@NEED_btc_ You can modify slightly the recovery tool to print them (github.com/muun/recovery). What do you need them for? Depending on what you are looking for, you might want the output descriptors rather than the xpubs.

@criptolawyer Binance no implementó aún soporte para route hints (presentes en los invoices de todas las wallets non custodial). Estamos en contacto con su soporte para explicarles la situación y coordinar su implementación lo antes posible!

¿Ya utilizaron la opción de retirar #BTC en binance con Lightning network? Fees bastante decentes. Pero en mi caso no me permite retirar a @muun.
