@GrammarTable "badly" always makes me think of a great scene from the movie Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... "Badly is an adverb. So to say you feel badly would be saying that the mechanism which allows you to feel is broken."

In how many of the following sentences would you want to remove the "ly"? - I feel badly about it. - I feel strongly about it. - I feel similarly about it.
