@aekofathih If you were an ancestor buried in of these cemeteries, and you happen to know how congested the city is getting and there's need for parking space. Wouldn't you, as a generous ancestor, trade your parking space for the living? It's the respectful thing to do, don't you think?

It is shameful and disrespectful to dig out last remaining Malé cemeteries - the last remaining green spaces in Male’ and the connection to our ancestors and past.

Tourists & expats who visit/work in our shores are usually respectful of our ways, culture & religion.
Until quite recently during Ramazan restaurants were closed during the day.
Non Muslims working in Maldives found it difficult but adapted.
Suffice to say that i’ve never seen non Maldivians eating out in the open during Ramazan.
Tourists & foreigners working in Maldives should be reminded to show respect.
Avoid eating, drinking or smoking in public!

Done for the sake of it. This is by far the most useless thing previous hdc managment did. Removing this is anything but going backwards..

@hdcmaldives is removing bicycle lanes. When i called hdc to inquire about this, they said it was requested by @PoliceMv - i didn’t realize MPS was in charge of city/road design decisions. Why are HML roads not under @MaleCitymv as promised by @MMuizzu ? @FaZuLRaShYd
