Canada will have the choice of buying or not buying a BYD vehicle, just as Mexico does in its free market. BYD is preparing to enter the Canadian market, with plans to open around 20 dealerships there later this year. Tesla will die the moment BYD enters the US market and Elon knows it.

@brianwilt ~2014 when I was at Evercar, we were trying to partner with BYD to bring one of their EVs to the US. I got to drive their E6 for about a week around LA. It did 0 to 60 in about 15 seconds, barely faster than my 98 Jeep.

There are a lot of guys who never went to a single Whitecaps game mad at me for pointing out BC is not a big soccer hub. At least not for MLS soccer. Whitecaps are the lowest earning MLS team. Maybe they are an amazing team and a lot of fun to watch but their fans have not been putting their dollars toward the team. Maybe the Whitecaps can be convinced to stay but people calling for the government to do something are missing the point. Atlanta wasn't able to support a hockey team.
