Gm… Asked Sabi Ai How @fedibtc impacts my life as a Nigerian and… In a country with inflation and broken rails, Bitcoin just makes sense. Fedi makes sense.

I’ve spent the last few weeks onboarding merchants onto Bitcoin via @fedibtc in Abuja. I kept seeing the same thing: People download the app. They’re excited. Then… they stop. Not because Bitcoin is hard. Because the context is missing. Existing tools like “AI assistant” and “Ask Fedi” are useful, but they speak global tech or depend on human availability. They don’t speak like a merchant in Abuja. They don’t walk you through buying sats with Naira in a way that actually clicks. So I built Sabi AI. A localized onboarding layer for Fedi. It behaves like a real “Sabi” expert, guiding users step-by-step until they actually use Bitcoin: → from zero → to buying sats → to spending → to becoming a merchant Why it matters: • Speaks English, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo & Pidgin • Walks users through real Fedi flows (not generic explanations) • Removes the “confusion gap” where users drop off This isn’t just answering questions. It’s moving users forward. Built with @AnthropicAI (Claude Opus 4.7) + @vercel, with heavy focus on local context and usability. Currently being tested live in Abuja and already used within the Bitcoin Abuja community on Fedi. If you’re building for emerging markets, this layer isn’t optional. I build AI products focused on real-world adoption. Always love working on problems like this. Link: sabibtc.vercel.app Open to Feedbacks🧡

Our first Introduction to Fedi class was a success! 16 people showed up on a Friday evening to learn how Bitcoin works and how @fedibtc makes it usable for everyday Nigerians. We covered why the Naira is failing, how Bitcoin fixes it, and walked through setting up Fedi, sending, receiving, and buying BTC with Naira live. 4 attendees are walking away with $5 in sats each to support their bitcoin journey. Huge thanks to @thecoachayobami for co-hosting with me, it was an honor to have you there. This is just the beginning for the bitcoin Abuja community🧡 Many more classes and workshops to come.
