March is Youth Art Month! In Yonkers Public Schools, art education inspires creativity both inside and outside the classroom. Last month, multilingual learners participated in a Painting with Purpose workshop, creating community-inspired artwork that celebrates identity, resilience, and pride. Guided by a professional artist, students transformed creativity into confidence and left with meaningful artwork, stronger self-expression, and a deeper sense of belonging. ✨ #YonkersMagic

School 23's Annual Holiday Raffle was drawn today to the delight of our students. 120 gifts donated by staff and supporters were distributed to our deserving scholars. Thank you to our learning community for bringing smiles and holiday spirit to 56 VC! #23

As part of their engineering unit, Class 4M students collaborated to create balloon powered cars during their Science period. Exploration and discovery led them to their finished product. Great job Ms. Morris! #23
