@mxddiemoo @roversupport I had a situation before where there was very obvious abuse happening. And they did absolutely nothing. I figured it would flag the account or something. NOPE

I am so disappointed by @roversupport. I provided lifesaving emergency veterinary care to a hospice client last week, and due to lack of communication by the Rover team, I was not paid for my time. I actually lost money having to pay backup sitters to take my regular clients.

@flamingobonez @roversupport My gosh that’s so frustrating I’m sorry! Rover Care should step in and help during times like that. There’s a reason a fee is taken out each booking, and to receive no support is a huge letdown.

@mxddiemoo @roversupport I just knew j was gonna have to pay the vet expenses and stuff but thankfully that had already given me their vets info and when I was otp with the owner they figured out how to pay the vet for everything over the phone/when they picked up ashes

@flamingobonez @roversupport Ugh I’m so sorry to hear that 😭 I was so glad he made it until they got back, but it was an emotionally draining situation and Rover definitely made it 100x worse

@mxddiemoo @roversupport I had a pretty similar situation about 2 weeks ago, the cat did not make it. I’m thankful I didn’t have another booking that day. But honestly rover is zero help to the actual sitters and all the help to the owners. It sucks

@roversupport Anyone looking to petsit for @RoverDotCom should be aware of this. It was made clear that us sitters, or sick pets, are no longer priority to them. Huge disappointment.

@roversupport I would do this all over again for my clients. The owner even asked how to compensate me, and (due to Rover rules) said everything should go through the app, leading to me not being compensated at all.
