I still use a late 2016 high-end MacBook Pro as my secondary Mac. It is still running macOS Monterey. What bothers me the most is that it lags a lot on tasks that are not new, such as browsing photos, which were common even 10 years ago.

I think that iOS developers who are using some dependency injection framework should check out Koin on Android for inspiration.
We use Swinject on iOS, which works great (cough cough strict concurrency checking 😱), but requires a lot of boilerplate a developer needs to write themselves. So I recently wrote a macro where you just annotate a class, and it automatically generates the initializer to begin with. Then we have a script that uses regex to scan for classes annotated with that macro and auto generates the swinject register code (exactly what Koin does on Android).
Got to spend like 1 day on it and built this half-assed thing, but all the other iOS developer immediately started using it. That's what real product-market fit looks like I guess.
