He’s easily the 2nd best of all time for me, GOAT debates were vindicated especially during the mid 2010’s when he was outshining Messi, had a much better big game record than Messi, won a Euros etc.
In terms of legacy, Messi’s prime and longevity mogged, but the debates weren’t for nothing. Ronaldo had an aura to him no other footballer in history has had, in that he was simply inevitable. No game state could stop the man from clutching up when it mattered.
