One of my hobbies is photography. This is the photo where my Twitter header came from. It's a phone pic of Lake Michigan as seen from the shore at Traverse City, and one of my favorites that I've taken.

@GenXTomboy @ShouldHaveCat We have a mother-daughter bonded pair. Mom Cat has two litters and the first one included the daughter of our pair. Then Mom got pregnant for the second time at the same time as the daughter got pregnant. We suspect they bonded over co-parenting. (Yes, they've both been fixed.)

This is insane: In a bizarre moment, the President of the United States suggests he can tell the drug companies "we're just not gonna let you sell any more cars into the US… any more wine or liquor or alcohol." He is cognitively not there.

@tracesoffaith I've had a rough year or so. Did I tell you about having cancer? There was an upside to it. Since I wasn't well enough to attend the confirmation ceremony at the cathedral, I got a private ceremony with the bishop in my hospital room!

🧵One area where I hope to contribute is in the deep-rooted misunderstanding of actual Catholic teaching. I'm no expert, but often, as the shock wears off, I'm like, "so that's what you really believe." A large tradition with much history means meaning gets lost in translation.

Watching some of these folks on social media, I can't help but think—what a sad way to exist, letting hate eat up your entire life. What an absolute waste. They’ll die being known for nothing except the misery they spread. What a rootless existence. my god.
