@jaketapper @AndrewPollackFL You missed the point of the painting. It’s not a portrait of Trump so much as it is a portrait of the assault on civil discourse with our political opponents and why the media rhetoric caused our political enemies to become targets.

This was hung in the White House Entrance Hall last year but I only saw it in person today. Replacing a portrait of President Obama, the portrait by Florida artist Marc Lipp was a gift to the president from @AndrewPollackFL. Unusual for a president to hang a picture of himself.
