After almost seven years at this club, it’s hard to put into words what this moment means to me. I arrived at this club when I was 18 years old. Far from home, barely speaking the language, trying to adapt to a completely new culture, new life and chasing a dream that felt so big at the time. I didn’t know exactly what the future would hold, but I knew I wanted to give everything for this club. We didn’t just build a team, we built a family, an identity, and something the fans could believe in again. To see this club back where it belongs is one of the proudest moments of my career. I want to thank my family, thank everyone at the club, the staff, my teammates, and every person working behind the scenes. Most importantly, thank you to the fans. Your support, patience and love throughout these years never went unnoticed. You stayed with us through the difficult moments, and this title belongs to you as much as anyone. Once again, another brilliant turnout on an early Sunday morning in Brentwood at the Thatchers Arms. It was absolutely chucking it down when we started… and still loads of men turned up. That says everything. 8am, men from all ages and all walks of life coming together for our men supporting men’s mental health walk. Everyone is welcome. It’s completely free. Anyone can come. And we’re doing it every single Sunday. Each week it’s getting busier and busier, and if it helps just one person, then that’s enough for me. What I love seeing is men actually talking. Getting things off their chest. Supporting each other. If you’ve had a good week, turn up and help lift someone else. If you’ve had a bad week, come down and vent. There’s no judgement here. None of that. We don’t look at you like that…. We are all here to support one another. Week on week, watching this grow, it’s genuinely powerful to see men supporting men. So thank you to everyone who turned up again today, rain and all. Another lovely Sunday. Proper proud. See you all again same time next week. Bosh. 👊❤️

I will always love my Club (ARSENAL)

Lads, I’m starting a Sunday Walking Club because I genuinely want to help people and I love walking. We’re meeting at The Thatchers Arms (CM13 3HU) at 8am this Sunday and going for a long walk….. no running, no pressure, just fresh air and moving ya body. It’s a chance to get fitter, clear your head, and have a proper chat about whatever’s going on in your life. No judgement, no nonsense, just a few blokes walking and talking. When we get back, we can enjoy a bacon and scallop roll at my seafood stall, and maybe a couple of cheeky beers after if you fancy it🍺. I want to do this every Sunday morning.
