Every time that logo plays, it’s a symbol of the amazing work done by talented teams around the world and represents one of my proudest career achievements.
Launching a virtual reality business inside a major movie studio has been a wild ride. Every day has a new twist and turn, filled with thrills, chills, laughs and an occasional touch of nausea.
Today I’m wrapping up 13+ years at Sony, the last 8 running @SonyPicturesVR
I’m filled with gratitude for the people who have been there along the way, and excitement about the next step (more on that soon).
Sony is a special company, where technology powers creativity allowing artists to realize their vision and executives to drive forward-thinking innovation.
A culture of innovation requires leaders who have the courage to put trust in the hands of their teams and let them stand by the results.
Leadership at Sony Pictures did that with me, and I am forever grateful to have had that opportunity.
Specifically, I want to call out Tony Vinciquerra, Tom Rothman, Josh Greenstein and Jeffrey Godsick for their support, guidance and friendship over the years.
Today won’t be the last time I walk under the rainbow at the Sony Lot, but the next time will be different.
