@TheGoodPhight They are a backwards organization as far as player development. They played Crawford in LF for the majority of his minor league career and now want him to learn the position in the majors. He should have been in CF from the time he was drafted. Like I said backwards

@ExplainingPhils My biggest issue with Turner is he’s a below average defensive SS and apparently refuses to move off the position and his offense hasn’t been exceptional to the point where he should be able to dictate such a thing

Disagree with this wholeheartedly. He’s been struggling this year sure but he’s one of the top players in fWAR in his time in Philly and was one of the best players in the sport last season and the year before that. Out of the many bad contracts to criticize rn he’s not one

Aaron Nola will end today with an ERA over 6.00 in 23 starts since the beginning of last season. The Phillies will be 8-15 in those starts, barring a huge comeback today. Only 5 of his last 16 have been quality starts. Just not keeping them in enough games.

@zwhitchcox @UziCryptoo Not only that the government says your property is worth 300K. You pay property taxes on that for a few years. You go to sell the property and only get 250K. You should get a 16.67% refund on their false estimation but you just gotta eat it

@UziCryptoo The government facilitates services that you use. You do owe them something for those services. If you want to “own it” and not pay anything yearly, put some money in an investment fund that will pay out enough to equal the property taxes. Then you will pay nothing per year.

My home is paid off. My wife & I allegedly own it FREE & CLEAR. But today we got a bill for property taxes. If we don't pay it, ARMED MEN will come & take it from us & then cage me until I pay them MY MONEY. So do I own it? Am I really free? I already pay 35% income tax + easily another 15% taxes in: -Sales. -Gas & fuel. -Capital gains. -Plethora of other taxes. TAXATION IS THEFT. Property tax shouldn't exist.

Also something that happened in the Phillies game: Garcias hits a bomb to left. They call it a home run but it's obviously foul. Garcia rounds the bases, touches home plate, celebrates with Bohm. They decide it's foul, Garcia goes back into the batters box and strikes out.

@SpikeEskin The Phillies really are a bummer right now. We are lucky the other teams are giving us stuff to focus on but imagine how much better we’d feel even if they were playing.500 ball

From a two-screen perspective, there couldn't be a much bigger difference between the Flyers and Phillies games at the moment.
