@CPhilpOfficial Tories abused the system, you couldn’t be arsed in home increasing tuition fees in line with inflation - you encouraged students to come, you were happy to take their money for fees, all the visa costs + nhs surcharges. Their families are contributing to the wider economy/society

This person openly admits it’s about getting her whole family in - and presumably then trying to stay for ever. Taxpayers will have to fund her 3 children’s entire education
This is clearly an abuse of the system and @ShabanaMahmood should urgently close this loophole
The request for half the tuition fees - the amount required upfront to get into the UK - is telling. This about gaining entry for an entire family, not genuine study
