Name that random #BlueJays player. Jays forked out $10 M to sign this highly touted prospect from Cuba. Played 1 year for the Big Club, this SS was traded away in a monster deal. Not a big power hitter, he did hit a grand slam off Roy Halladay (both not on TOR at the time).

Proof that the pitch clock was a necessary addition. Game times might decline even further with next year's ABS implementation, which should reduce the number of post-pitch arguments with umpires (and ejections).

The thing that seems to be overlooked about the Blue Jays deadline is that come postseason time, you may see 2 of Bassitt, Scherzer and Lauer in the bullpen. So it will only get stronger
