@JenniferEValent At one time, pre-DJT, Eric Metaxas was a voice of reason and faith. So far off the rails now.

@heysteph7 You’re doing great, Stephanie! (Other than a cold that came on last night, I’m doing well)

@MarionSyversen Ours was warm too! 1) 6 miles along the river. 2) DW is feeling better from her bad cold. 3) relaxing afternoon reading.

@UltraRunner26 Nonetheless, great race Danny! You will get that PR, I’m sure of that!

@oldmanruns Yesterday afternoon felt HOT! More today. We got a little over 1/2 in of rain overnight, which farmers needed.

Please! Tell me three good things about your day. Did it rain? That’s awesome in helping plants grow. Was it sunny? What a joy. You’ve got good things when you think about it. Mine: 1.) 5 miles done. It was pretty outdoors 🌻 and Morten Syversen on the dreaded (to me) treadmill. 2.) Lunch with bestie Kathryn Jovanelli making her retirement plans. 3.) Finishing baby’s birthday week with dinner at his favorite place.

@MarionSyversen So frustrating. Maybe it works to delete your own post, but not if you’re sharing something else??? Doesn’t make sense, but that might be the reason.

@gvan605 , here’s the reason you like it so cool when you run!
Alan Couzens@Alan_Couzens
The time of day that you run is physiologically important ⏰ When you run in the hot part of the day... 1/ Your stroke volume decreases (less blood volume available to fill the heart) leading to less cardiac remodeling. 2/ Your pace for a given HR is lower leading to less active muscle fibers being trained. A central aim of training is for higher & higher threshold motor units to be recruited & trained. This requires your training speeds to progressively increase over time. So, if you want to get better, for most of your runs... Stay cool 😎

@MarionSyversen Sometimes if you click on the 3 small dots in the right upper corner it allows you to delete. Not sure if always works, but could try that.
