Dementia is weird. Yesterday my mom told me I was the reason she got sick, totally didn’t trust me. Today I spent the whole day in her room, and I’ve gained her trust back. What tomorrow holds, I can only guess, but this is learning to love in a way I’ve never known.

@anxietymsgs Don’t start using nasal spray, ever. It’s addicting. I’m not talking about Flonase or whatever, I mean fucking Afrin. You’ll never believe you’ve ever breathed so good. Then you can’t stop. And when you do stop, your nose feels stuffy all the time.

Mom’s been on hospice a week and dad’s been cleaning the kettle for 3 hours now. Grief cleaning at its finest.

Am I the only one that stops breathing when crying? I don’t even know if that’s it, all I know is when I’m in the middle of a crying episode, suddenly I feel hypoxic. In a euphoric way. But then scary once I realize I’m driving again.

THIS! I went to the most expensive seafood restaurant there was on the island and I ordered the grilled shrimp pasta and the tails were still on and all mixed in with the pasta. I called the manager over, explained I’m paying $35 for this meal, the tails should be REMOVED. I told her I didn’t want it, she took it back, and didn’t offer to fix it or comp it.

I just think that if you’re going to serve me a shrimp pasta, the least you could do is peel off the tails.
