I’ve been on Amsterdam Ave for five minutes. In that time, I saw three cyclists riding the wrong way and one blowing through a red light.
Bike violence is real. And groups like @StreetsblogNYC and @TransAlt keep running cover for those who endanger pedestrians and drivers alike.
Step one is accountability. Track the injuries and deaths caused by reckless cycling. Right now, that isn’t happening.
