After seeing Bama get blown out, it was nice thinking I'd get to see either Notre Dame (and Miami) get in, or better yet BYU (and Bama) get in. I grossly underestimated the stupidity of the CFP Committee

Dear College Football Fans, this is a safe space. Was the CFP Committee right to put Alabama in, flip Notre Dame and Miami without them playing a game and leave out BYU, Vanderbilt and Texas?

Ohio St lost and fell. BYU lost and fell. Virginia lost and fell. What happened when Alabama got dominated while racking up -3 rushing yards?

@king_cfb @CFBONFOX They literally used a close win to a bad team as justification to drop the Utes 3 spots in the rankings solely to make BYU's resume look worse. But Bama barely scraping by Auburn somehow doesn't matter. Either ND and Miami should be in or BYU and Bama. There's no logic to this.

@CFBONFOX The thing that really bothers me is more so that Alabama barely beat AUBURN 1 week ago. And struggled against South Carolina and oh yea got dog walked by Florida State. It’s a complete joke they got in.

Having BYU behind ND makes college football figure skating or gymnastics. You don’t even need to play the games. It’s so dumb. BYU plays in a power conference. Tougher schedule. They have less losses and better wins. Ruins the whole sport. #provodave #byuscrewed

@TheLandoShow As soon as the Pac-12 got dismantled the committee should have reduced the playoff guarantee to the top 4 conferences instead of 5. I'll take a 3 loss Texas and at least six other teams over every non-P4 conference champ.

Texas lost 3 times. They’re an inconsistent & imperfect football team that doesn’t deserve to be in the playoff for those reasons. Texas also won 3 times vs top 10 opponents. They’re clearly talented enough to beat anyone & they DO deserve to be in the playoffs for those reasons. Both things are true. This situation is unique & the committee is technically wrong either way. Whatever they decide. I don’t envy their job in moments like these.

@CFBONFOX If BYU had any of these other teams resumes they'd be out of consideration. Vice versa if any of these other teams had BYU's exact resume they would be easily guaranteed spots. Just do the top 16. I think we can all agree that no one outside the top is 16 is worth considering.
