@nalonge 👍 Have you tried CardView.MAUI? I wonder if it can compete with built-in one and whether it wins is any scenarios.
Obviously, CardsView isn't ideal. I don't like a few particular things in it, but it is time-consuming to fix them

@MishaalRahman @WearOSbyGoogle @OnePlus_USA Galaxy Watch 7. AOD disabled. 3 days if I'm careful. Sleep tracking and all sensors on.
English

Are you using a @WearOSbyGoogle smartwatch, and if so, which one?
And how long does its battery last:
- With AOD enabled
- Without AOD enabled
I've been using the @OnePlus_USA Watch 2 since its release, and it still lasts me 3-4 days without AOD and 2-3 days with.
Curious about what kind of battery life y'all are achieving with other smartwatches, Wear OS or not!

@UnoPlatform Working on a personal finance app using Hot Design. Hot Design takes Uno Platform to another level.

@v1c7r0n @DevLeaderCa @EngstromJimmy I agree with this recommendation. Hands down the book you need on your shelf for Blazor development. Ignore the comments saying YouTube. Much easier to grab a book like this and go directly to the section you need.
English

@DevLeaderCa @EngstromJimmy 's Web Development with Blazor: A practical guide to building interactive UIs with C# 12 and .NET 8 is FANTASTIC. A beginning to intermediate level book IMO.

.NET devs,
Controllers v Minimal APIs v FastEndpoints.
Which approach do you prefer?
Why? 🤔

I love #dotnetmaui. Every release gets better and the ease of creating an app that runs on mobile and desktop (and web with Maui Blazor) is unlike any other xplat tool, and I've used them all.
English

@EngstromJimmy I just finished up an app for an HVAC company. Their techs use iPads in the field so Blazor Wasm was perfect. I didn't go Blazor Hybrid because we didn't want to mess with app stores/approvals

@UnoPlatform I was thinking it was more of a drag and drop designer when I first saw it announced. But it's nice to see it in action. I'm on the wait list but in the mean time I wouldn't mind seeing a more advance design (anything but a ToDo list, lol).

@nickkovalsky @davidortinau @surendrasheoran @mauiday @JamesMontemagno Yes, the iOS simulators will show up. In the bottom right status bar you can click the icon for which platform you want to debug (Mac, iOS, etc.). Builds are faster on the Mac too (for me anyway).
English

what would be good for MAUI app .net 8 or .net9? I want to use .net9 but visual studio Mac not supporting it. Any suggestions
@mauiday @JamesMontemagno @davidortinau
English

@davidortinau @surendrasheoran @mauiday @JamesMontemagno VS Code with the Maui extension is awesome. Hot Reload works, intellisense works, and with a couple more extension iOS certs and provisioning profiles work.
English

@surendrasheoran @mauiday @JamesMontemagno .NET 9 for sure. .NET 8 is out of support in 6 months.
VS Mac is already unsupported. VS Code with MAUI DevKit is getting better all the time, and I don't miss VS Mac personally anymore.

@okyrylchuk Who ever made that comment has never had to try and debug a complex T-SQL stored proc written by a "sql developer" who has no concept of variable naming, code reuse or anything like that.
English

@DanJSiegel @UnoPlatform Same. I've been wanting to try UNO (and Avalonia), but this is the push I need to get started using UNO for my next app
English

This is a game changer that really helps me to feel confident that @UnoPlatform is the right choice for many of my upcoming projects!

@DirtyTesLa @aelluswamy I have an area that switched from 35 to 45, then 55. It will get stuck at 45. This version is so much better than the last free trial that I’m considering subscribing.
English

My Model Y feedback: Highway is amazing and almost seems psychic it is so good at moving through traffic, changing lanes to avoid vehicles merging on, etc. Speed profiles off highway are also amazing. Areas without speed profiles are still eh, and FSD seems to get "stuck" at its current speed. Meaning I'll pass a new speed limit sign, higher or lower, and FSD just simply sticks to whatever speed it was already going even tho it registered the new limit sign.
Cybertruck FSD is still really goofy. Although it can do 90% of drives pretty much perfectly, braking is often way too late, and emergency braking has kicked in a few times which is scary and harsh.
We also still need school zones, emergency vehicles, no turn on red, etc
Please don't forget original FSD owners. Even those that have sold their HW2.5/3 car and bought a new Tesla... You know who they are, and they supported Tesla and the FSD mission from long ago.
I'll end with a compliment tho. This software is one of the most amazing products I've had the pleasure of using. The added safety and convenience are off the charts. I used to dread my commute (I've always had long commutes) but all of that stress and monotony is GONE thanks to FSD, especially V12 which was a massive step change in capability (this claim is supported by my personal data as well).
Thank you and the entire @Tesla_AI team!
English

With the latest release (v12.5.6.3), FSD is using end-to-end neural networks for driving across highways, city streets and parking lots, and has now shipped widely for AI4 vehicles.
Highway driving should be smoother, more natural and even safer than the previous explicit control stack. Check out the different driving styles to set speed and lane change preferences.
Enjoy and let @Tesla_AI know if you have any feedback.
